1893-Dated, 1892-1893 Worlds Columbian Exposition Clock Commemorative Souvenir, In Its Original Labeled Box, Very Fine.

This original Columbian Exposition or World's Fair of 1892-1893 Clock measures about 14" tall and 5.5" wide and 4.75" deep. Its original storage/shipping box measures about 15" x 6.5" x 6". The all wood, weight driven clock has an engraved image of Columbus at the upper portion and "Anno 1492" at the lower portion, with string pulls for the internal mechanism currently not connected or working. There is a piece of wood missing from the top strip of one wall that completes the tongue-and-groove arrangement. Issued as a Commemorative Souvenir or sold in conjunction with, the Columbian Exposition or World's Fair of 1892-1893. It appears to be complete and comes in its original box with a partial label on the lid. A scarce historical Commemorative Souvenir.
