The following 2 swords were captured by the above General L.Campbell during the Boxer Rising while commanding Allied Troops in Northern China a reworked Chinese sword with pierced steel bowl guard and wooden leather scabbard the old label states captured from the Chief of Tartar Cavalry Pao-Ting- Fam expedition Northern China October 1900 and the other during the sikhs war an Indian "Kilij or Pulouar" style sword with 3 bar 1821 style basket hilt old label states captured by my major General Campbell father from Sikh general Sikh war 1840" see illustration
