A 19TH CENTURY INDIAN TULWAR OR SWORD, 82.75cm sharply curved damascus blade, characteristic hilt profusely decorated with scrolling foliage of Paisley form in gold and in the Sikh fashion of Lahore, the scrolling knuckle guard with inscription to the inside, shallow dished disc pommel with sunburst domed terminal decorated to match, contained in its partial wooden scabbard with copper gilt chape.
