The square fire-gilt case profusely engraved with crowned warrior figures and arabesques, featuring alarm, time and strike movement in iron-plated double fusee verge esecapement; later alarm-setting disc; engraved with Roman numerals from I-XII and an inner track of Arabic numerals from 13-24. Height 6 inches, 2 1/2 inches square.
