Obverse: Three hoplites, holding shields, on galley left above waves, with prow ending in lion's head; below, hippocamp left above murex shell, AD (in Phoenician) above dorsal fin; Reverse: Lion attacking bull left. A fairly SCARCE type, this example does exhibit some typical doubling, but is largely without handling and offers some enchanting golden toning around the devices.
