[ARMORIAL MANUSCRITO].- TROPHEOS Lusitanos. Por Joaõ Nunes Tinoco Architecto de S. Mgde. Anno 1650.- Século XVII (1650).- [64] f.; 17 cm.- E., Manuscript armorial, dated 1650, with indication of authorship. João Nunes Tinoco (ca. 1610-1689), a Portuguese architect of unknown origin, was responsible for completing the work on the Church of S. Vicente de Fora (due to the death of his father), as well as for numerous projects and works, mainly in Lisbon , from 1652. The booklet consists of a title page, with the title inserted in a baroque cartouche and 63 pages containing each a coat of arms with the coat of arms of a Portuguese noble family (starting with the royal family, with four coats of arms), accompanied by , in the lower margin, of the respective identification, handwritten in semi-Gothic letter. Among the 63 coats of arms, we highlight: Casa de Bragança antigua, Duque de Bragança Condestabre de Portugal, Duque de Aveiro, Duque de Caminha, Duque de Cadaval, Marquês de Castelo Rodrigo, Conde de Atouguia, Conde de Linhares, Conde de Vila Franca, Conde de Basto, Conde de Ficalho, Conde de Tarouca, etc. . Carefully illuminated coats of arms with ink stains and scribbles on both front and verso. Interesting full leather binding of the time, worn, with a damaged spine, but recoverable; covers with blind decoration and gilt edges.
